Who We Are

Stage One Academy is a private arts academy opening up in Richmond, British Columbia, in Spring 2010 that offers classes in a variety of the performing arts for young people between the ages of 3 to 18. We offer classes in acting, singing, dancing, clowning, magic, public speaking, and etiquette to name a few. Beyond introducing our students to these subjects, we allow them to delve deeper into these artistic disciplines by offering skill levels from intermediate, advanced, and beyond (known as continued studies).

One of the several aspects that sets Stage One apart from other academies in the country is our state of the art facility. Our location in Richmond boasts over 8000 square feet of space that includes 6 studios, a theatre, a recording studio, top of the line instruments and even a golf simulator for downtime. Another aspect that makes Stage One the right choice for arts education is our outstanding staff of professionals that are both performers in their field as well as passionate, seasoned educators. Furthermore, Stage One takes a much more detailed look at some of the more popular arts forms, such as acting and dancing, than other schools in the country while offering classes in subjects that cannot be found in any other school in the city.

Stage One also organizes and sponsors arts related events or competitions to encourage students to apply what they have learnt to the real socitey, showing their confidence and talents to the public.

2010 - Grand opening in Richmond, BC

2014 - We extend our services to "Ballet", "Modeling", "Singing", "Public Speaking" and "Master of Ceremonies"

At Stage One, we believe that at the heart of this artistic exploration, our students will discover a more confident, capable self; a person capable of accomplishing everything they desire in their life.

Our goal is to create not a student body, but a family of creative, confident and outgoing artists and people. We are a group of passionate artists and educators, and we believe that is something you will feel by walking through our doors.
